Draymond Jamal Green plays for the Golden State Warriors. Green grew up in Saginaw, Michigan and played college basketball at Michigan State. With Michigan State, Green helped the team to two Final Four appearances and a Big Ten Tournament championship in 2012. Throughout his career at Michigan State, Green earned conference and national honors, including Big Ten Conference Sixth Man of the Year as a sophomore and consensus All-American and NABC National Player of the Year honors as a senior.

In the 2012 NBA Draft, the Golden State Warriors selected Green in the second round as the 35th overall pick. Green became one of the most reliable reserve players on the team in his rookie year enough to earn regular playing time in games.
