Description

The Balvenie Single Barrel is a 15 year old single malt which is drawn from a single traditional oak whisky cask of a single distillation. Whilst each cask is subtly different, The Balvenie Malt Master selects only those casks which have the essential characteristics of The Balvenie Single Barrel, particularly honey, vanilla and oaky notes. Each bottling forms a limited edition of no more than 350 hand-numbered bottles - so each bottle is unique and unrepeatable.

The richly layered Glenfiddich 15 Year Old single malt Scotch whisky is innovatively matured in three types of oak cask: sherry, bourbon and new oak, before being married in our unique, handcrafted Oregon pine Solera vat. Year on year, this Solera vat is never emptied but is always kept at least half full creating a deliciously harmonious and intense whisky which gets more complex and intriguing every year.

The pursuit of perfection inherent to the history of the brand is reflected in the consistent quality of the whisky itself. It is a taste that has stood the test of time, demonstrated by the fact that The Glenlivet has won either a trophy or gold medal every year for the last five years in major competitions.

One of the highest of all Highland distilleries, Dalwhinnie produces a welcomingly gentle spirit that's full of character.Smooth and soft with heather, honey and delicate spice, creamy not dry. A single malt with smoothness and depth that benefits from a full 15 year of aging.Beautiful scents of heather, peat, and fresh cut grass fill the nose.Creamy while sprite on the palate being enveloped in a spicy, mildly smoky, and zesty enveloping the semi-viscous core.

Following in the tradition of Scottish innovation, the Glencairn Glass has arrived. It's roots lie in the traditional nosing and tasting glasses used by master blenders and connoisseurs around the world.  Today the Glencairn Glass can be found at every distillery in Scotland, Ireland, Wales as well as most in the USA. It has won accolades from around the world including the Queens Award, the highest award for business in the UK. It may have taken a few hundred years to arrive, but whisky now has a glass of it's own.
