In 2011 basketball legend Julius Erving, "Dr. J." auctioned off many of the personal items accrued over a Hall of Fame Career. One of these items was a Yankees Hat gifted to Erving by Reggie Jackson.
On the inner bill the name "Dr. J." appears above Jackson's signature and personal inscription. Autographed Reggie Jackson hats sell for $350 in memorabilia stores, one with this connection between two Hall of Fame icons should be worth more than that.
It originally sold at auction, along with an Alex Rodriguez hat, for $475.

If unable to pick up item(s), shipping and handling charges will be charged to bidder's credit card and items will be mailed at bidder's own risk. Items will be mailed out beginning the week of June 3.
