Description

Come to the studios of NPR, or an NPR reporter will come to you, so that you can read and record a books-on-tape version of your favorite bedtime story with NPR Reporter (and PS11 Dad!) Mike Pesca..

A CD, easily convertible to MP3, will be provided. Great for use on car trips, as an alternative to TV, or during story time at night when actual parent/child interaction is impossible, like when the parent is away on business. Or when a parent is administering a time-out to another child who thought it would be a fun idea to glue a magnatile to the cat.

2 short books (eg Goodnight Moon, reading time 1:30) or one medium book (ig a chapter of Frog and Toad, reading time 3:30) will be produced, audio files will be edited for a smooth listening experience, and appropriate theme music will be chosen. The recording can be of a parent reading to a child, or a child reading his or her most beloved book, thus capturing a poignant memory and milestone.
