Enjoy an evening out with good friends, wine and food, at Bar Ferd'nand, inside the Melrose Market on Capitol Hill. The 12 of you will be treated to a private "Artisan Wines and Their Producers" themed wine tasting and class conducted by Bar Ferd'nand's WineDirector, Marc Papineau. You and your friends will enjoy food and wine throughout the evening in the private loft above the bar. Marc will take you on an enological tour that will end with his personal tasting notes on each wine enjoyed that night. You will explore some of wine's most eccentric producers and their craft. These are producers who have gone back to their roots: using ancient production methods, biodynamic, working their land by hand, producing in amphorae and being as non-manipulative as possible in the winemaking process. We will taste through sparkling, white, and red wines. In addition, discounts will be available on the purchase of any wines discussed during the evening.
