Most may know that Cookie's Place where all our feline leukemia cats live was named in honor of my most Top of all Top Cats- Cookie Princess Warrior. She passed from leukemia in 2009 at the age of 12. Before she passed, I had two mantle size portraits professionally done of her and several smaller portraits. One sitting was done here at the house by well known former Austinite, Patty Mora.http://www.pattymoraphoto.com/index2.php#/home.
One of the pieces hangs in our hospital and you can see it in the reception area where she proudly reigns (www.centraltexascathospital.com). The others live in our house in the living area- she is a constant reminder of what we do and why. She IS Shadow Cats and truly a piece of our hearts.
Anyway, most of you know that we do just about anything for the cats at SC- and that includes a priority of taking care of the living- the ones that are here now.
So with no disrespect to my Cookie, we are going to offer this most prized of possessions- a beautiful portrait of the queen of cats here at SC.
