Most of the verses in this edition of the Bhagavad Gita were taken from Swami Kriyananda's much larger book, The Essence of the Bhagavad Gita Explained by Paramahansa Yogananda. This edition has only the verses (slokas) of the Bhagavad Gita, and does not include the commentary on each verse. It include some slokas that were omitted from the larger book. This book is signed and donated by Swami Kriyananda.
