Description

The Brentano Quartet is the first quartet-in-residence at Princeton University, where the members regularly teach chamber music. They have embarked on several tours in the United States. The members of the quartet are Mark Steinberg, Serena Canin, Misha Amory, and Nina Lee.  They have performed all over the world.  Recently, music played by the Brentano String Quartet was featured in the score of the film A Late Quartet.


In one CD, the Brentano Quartet plays a Mozart viola quintet (G Major) as well as a Mozart String Quartet (A Major) with Hsin-Yun Huang.  In the second CD, has the recording of Beethoven's opus 127 and 131, the last was used in the soundtrack of A Late Quartet.
