Assistant Music Director Sandra Noreen will help to organize a recital for the winning student at the Hudson View Gardens. Sandra will help to set it up the concert, publicize it and organize the reception. Recital date needs to be approved by the Hudson View Gardens programming committee and must be open to the public. The recital can be shared among two or more families or even a whole class!

Hudson View Gardens, a historic Tudor complex, is located at 116 Pinehurst Avenue in Washington Heights  It is a historic building, charming and not too formal. 

Twenty minutes north of SMS on the “A” train, the space holds about 50 people. There is a grand piano, and acoustics are reasonably good for performers. The space also includes a kitchen and reception area in the back
