A 2 hour watercoloring class for one student from the visual arts teacher of The Special Music School.

Ilona Moarof??A???A-Fins is an engineer who has also studied traditional visual arts in Istanbul, Turkey and Florance, Italy. Her love for her science grew stronger when she noticed that art could help her to understand and practice science. After several years of working in the engineering field she decided to teach art so that she can help others to make this connection. Since then she made it her primary goal to educate students in the language of art and to use art to help them express themselves and solve problems. After studying at Teachers College, Columbia University she found her new family SMS.

In this 2 hour course Ilona would like the student to start a journey, a journey of self expression with different tecniques of water coloring. He/she will be supplied with all necessary equipment. All we ask him/her to bring is the joy of making art work.

Student will be experimenting with different tecniques such as wet on wet, watercolor resist, glazing, even wash, graduated wash, printing, blotting, and dry brush.
