The 2009 Padis Cabernet Sauvignon is made from the very best grapes from the Padis estate in Napa Valley. The grape clusters are hand-selected to be sure the wine is of the highest quality. Only 300 cases of the Cabernet is produced each year. With the guidance of vineyard manager John Truchard and winemaker Robert Foley, the vines are planted very closely to get the best quality grape possible. In blind tastings the wine has surpassed some of the best know "cult wines" on the market that sell for much higher prices.
The Padis Cabernet Sauvignon is always rich on the palette with dark berry flavors and is crafted to be enjoyed young, but also has the structure to age gracefully for patient connoisseurs.
