Katherine, an MD and MFA, is a contemporary realist painter specializing in the moods and mysteries of the ocean environment. After studying with artist Jack Clifton, she obtained degrees from Duke University in Mechanical Engineering and Medicine. She then trained in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Stanford University. Her art training has been at the Corcoran College of Art and the Academy of Art University, where she received her MFA with honors. Her paintings have been published in Fine Art Connoisseur, American Art Collector, International Artist, and Stanford's Bench and Bedside magazine.
