Description
No one knows better the virtues of the real life gods and goddesses that are the teachers of Nueva's fourth grade class. All year, the remarkable team led by Matt, Lori, Margie, and Cassie has inspired and guided the creative collective minds that make up this loving, energetic, and tender community of children. Two lucky fourth grade families will bid on the opportunity to win a hand-drawn decorated serving platter (one from each class). Each student lovingly designed an image of their favorite Greek god or goddess. Check out the beautiful Palmer, Spencer, or Italic handwriting of our fourth grade cherubs who have proudly displayed their newly acquired talents by signing the platter in the script of their choosing. In addition to the platter, each winning family has the opportunity to enjoy a Greek-themed feast cooked and served by fourth grader and family volunteers. The serving, entertainment, and clean-up will be provided by the children in the class as a demonstration of their commitment to the Nueva community and its ideals. Each winning bidder can invite another fourth grade family to join them for this festive feast! Entertainment during the event includes the premiere and exclusive DVDs of Acropolis Sand Building a documentary of the fourth grade's class trip to Chrissy Field with world-renowned sand castle builder Kirk Rademaker. During this trip, students crafted their Greek buildings out of sand.
