Meet your experienced guides at the L.L. Bean Paddling Center on Casco Bay, then gear up and paddle to a picturesque island for a picnic. We'll continue on and visit with working lobstermen and take a closer look at this fascinating, traditional occupation. You'll return to the Island Base Camp, your home for the next night. Your hearty appetite will be satisfied with an authentic Maine lobster and clambake or steak dinner. Then take your rest in your comfortable tents and sleeping bag.

After a hearty breakfast out in the salt air, you'll launch the kayaks for a daylong expedition to area islands. Enjoy an interpretive tour of a chain of islands edged by jutting ledges where kayakers often see resting seals and lunch before paddling back to the Paddling Center in Freeport.
