Claude's style is influenced by his affinity for 1920’s travel posters and his deep admiration for artists Edward Hopper and Robert Indiana. “I look for the inherent drama in things as in the light and shadows that magnify or reduce a feature or shape,” he has said. His bold graphics and use of strong colors provide a new dramatic perspective on these historic structures that have come to define Maine.
