This beautiful illustration by artist, Elise Gunderson, is called "Swallowtails". Swallowtails are Native California butterflies. The piece depicts elegant black Pipevine Swallowtail and Anise Swallowtail butterflies on thistle plants.
The picture is mixed media gouache and colored pencil. It will be in a white matte in acid free materials with a dark brown frame. Framed size is 16 1/4" square.
