Behind-the-scenes tour of Zoo Miami and our Amazon and Beyond exhibit led by one of our staff members. Amazon and Beyond covers 27-acres and features 100 species with a total of 600 animals divided into three areas: the Cloud Forest, Amazon Forest and Atlantic Forest. You will embark on an amazing journey among giant river otters that can grow to be six-feet long; jaguars, the largest cats in the western hemisphere; harpy eagles with talons the size of grizzly bear claws; an anaconda, the mightiest snake on earth, and many other fascinating creatures of the tropics. Don't miss your chance to see what goes on behind the scenes, where few guests ever have the opportunity to visit.
