The artwork produced by the National Zoo's gorillas and orangutans at the Great Ape House is breathtaking - and now you can see these amazing pieces of art be created right in front of you! This experience includes a tour of the Great Ape House and your choice of observing keepers paint with either a gorilla or an orangutan. All tour participants must be at least 13 years old. Tour should be coordinated with Great Ape House staff (typically afternoons around 2pm is ideal). Tour maximum is 10 people, although smaller groups are highly encouraged.
