Traditional hand-embroidery from an original oil painting on canvas, typical of Thai society. Created in southern Thailand by trainees trained by her Majesty Queen Sirikit's SUPPORT Foundation. A majority of the trainees are members of the poorest of the poor and landless families. Knowledge and income gained from training in handicraft projects help alleviate poverty and improving the qualities of live tremensously. The entire project took seven months. Approximately 38" x 46" framed.
