Description

The cheetah cubs, Justin and Carmelita, are getting bigger and so is their art skills. The cheetah cub footprints were done on an 12" x 16" piece of art paper in magenta, blue, and green paint. This piece also includes a cheetah t-shirt and card signed by Olympic medalists Justin Gatlin and Carmelita Jeter, after whom the two cheetah cubs are named. It's widely known that cheetahs are the fastest land animals, being able to achieve speeds of over 70 mph, but they may not be fast enough to escape the pressures of fragmented populations and poaching. Most cheetahs are known to reside in Africa, but there is a very rare subspecies of Asiatic cheetah. It is estimated only about 50-60 Asiatic cheetahs remain, most of them in Iran. Framed 34"x26".
