All of the Twin Cities natural food cooperatives define “local” as food and products coming from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and North and South Dakota. We also consider local products to be anything that is “locally grown” (as in farmed) and/or “locally produced” (as in manufactured or made) within the five-state area.

Overall, one-third of our products come from local sources, including a number of Lakewinds’ onsite creations.
