The middle school pet turtle, Boxer, would love to visit one of our IC families for the summer.  He spends much of the winter months in hibernation but during the summer he loves to get out and about.  

He doesn't need an awful lot of care but he does need someone to collect him, his 20 gallon tank, his food at the end of the school year and return him in the fall.  Also he needs a safe place in your house, away from other family pets who might frighten him and LOTS OF LOVE!

He is a land animal and requires some room to walk around and maybe a tub to splash in occasionally.  He also loves fresh fruits and vegetables and occasionally a handful of crickets from the pet shop.
