About The New Art Center:

The New Art Center sustains a faculty of 40 professional artists and operates one of the few mid-sized nonprofit spaces in New England, with more than 4,500 visitors each year. 

The New Art Center offers over 80 art classes per term and annually educates over 2,500 students - children, teens and adults.  Classes include painting, drawing, ceramics, mixed media, calligraphy, cartooning, photography and much more. 

The certificate expires February 1, 2019.

The New Art Center's Philosophy:

The New Art Center supports artistic creation and education through small classes, free exhibitions and public programs. At the center, we nurture children's creativity, encourage emerging artists, develop teaching opportunities, and engage the community with exhibitions of professional, living artists.  The instructors are professional artists and art educators who have studied at fine art institutions such as MASS College of Art, Boston University, the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Cooper Union and the Florence Academy of Art, Italy.
