About Us:
Chiropractic care is a natural form of health care. It has been a tremendous benefit to millions of Americans for over one hundred years and continues to help more and more people everyday.
Dr. Robert N. Staulo of Newton Highlands Chiropractic has been practicing in Newton since 1989. During his years in practice Dr. Staulo has built a reputation for quality care and dedication to patients.
When starting any type of health care, the goals often seem simple. Most people do not feel the need to think about their health goals beyond “feeling normal again” or “getting rid of this pain” or “just be myself again.” With these primary goals in mind, chiropractic care is a great choice.
Study after study has shown that patients who choose chiropractic care for back pain and related problems get better faster and stay better longer.
However feeling good is everyone’s short and long term goal. How to get there involves some choices and decisions between you and Dr. Staulo.
Treatment Plan
After diagnosing your problem, Dr. Staulo will give you a treatment plan. Your treatment plan has two phases; pain relief and correction and stabilization. The pain relief portion generally involves more frequent treatment with emphasis on rest, ice and heat treatments at home. The correction and stabilization period generally consists of less frequent treatments with stretching and exercise specific to your injury rehabilitation. During this period of care spinal biomechanics are restored to maximum potential. Pain specific to your injury is infrequent or absent during this phase. Curve correction and chronic aspects of your injury are addressed in this stage.
