Many of the stars who attended the 2011 Emmy Awards were a little more jazzed about the parties than the actual ceremony. HBO held its Annual Emmy Party at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, with dinner prepared by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck, including Creole-spiced lobster and shrimp with grits, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Similarly, following last year's event, Jimmy Kimmel joked that, during commercials, the Emmys looked like this: "all your favorite TV stars all in one room, checking their phones and ignoring each other."
But the picture was much different – and a whole lot more fun – after the show.
The official HBO Emmy After Party, held at the Pacific Design Center Sunday night, played host to many happy nominees, including lead actress in a drama series winner Claire Danes.
The 65th Primetime Emmy Awards takes place on Sunday, Sept 22, 2013.
Admission is for two people.
Attendants must be at least 21 years old, with valid photo i.d. in order to enter party.
