Description
The Center for Discovery is offering a two-week summer internship in its New York City office specializing in non-profit fundraising and development.
Intern for a nationally recognized specialty center known for its high quality of care for individuals with significant disabilities, complex medical frailties and autism spectrum disorders.
In this position, intern will gain invaluable exposure to a wide range of experiences that support The Center's professional advancement program, including fundraising, development, public relations, communications and government affairs.
The position will be based in The Center's New York City Development Office, located on the Upper West Side at 180 West 80th Street and Amsterdam Avenue.
The opportunity to travel to The Center's Harris, New York site for a visit and tour will be included in this experience.
Special Instructions
Internship is available during May, June, July or August, 2013, subject to availability and mutual agreement.
Transportation will be provided to the site visit at The Center for Discovery campus in Harris, NY. All other travel and lodging is the responsibility of the winner.
Intern must be at least 16 years old to take advantage of this opportunity.
