Mitchell Schorr has traveled the four corners of the world looking for inspiration, including the remote regions of India, Nepal, and the Middle East.  A New York City native, his work was recently displayed at the 2003 Grammy Awards where it was featured in the Green Room of Madison Square Garden.  Other Manhattanites may be familiar with Schorr's 3-D mural entitled, "A Day at the Races", in Chinatown's Sara D. Roosevelt Park, commissioned by the NYC Park and Recreation Department.  The City of New York, the Shine Mural Project, the National Arts Club, and New York-based Gen Art have all recognized and commissioned Schorr's skills as a muralist.  Pieces from Cuban Visions and other select titles will decorate this year's Tony Awards in its Green Room.
