Motivated K-9 provides both dog and owner the coaching and guidance needed to produce results. We take a very balanced approach to training which has been proven to produce fast and lasting positive changes. At Motivated K-9, we believe that fair and effective communication is the key to improving and enhancing the relationship between dogs and people. We also believe that the education of each dog and person must be approached on an individual basis. Each dog’s training should be based on the dog’s personality, behavior, and the goals of the owner. We address the varied approaches and methods to training dogs with our clients. As trainers we understand that not every dog can fit into a singular “method” of training. In addition we counsel and instruct dog owners about behavior and proper handling skills.

The training will be led by Joseph Castagno IV, founder of Motivated K-9 LLC. Joe is a Certified Professional Trainer. He graduated from the world famous National K-9 school for dog trainers in Columbus, Ohio, where He studied behavior modification, basic and advanced obedience, personal protection, police k-9, scent detection, tracking, soft-mouth retrieval, and puppy socialization. He is also an associate member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP) and the National K-9 Dog Trainers Association (NK9DTA).
