Visit the luminous Girl With a Pearl Earring at the DeYoung Museum.    AP Art History teacher Rebecca Gertmenian will give a presentation the morning of your visit about the Dutch Golden Age and Vermeer. With her background information, you'll be better able to understand this lovely work and the others in the exhibit The Girl with a Pearl Earring: Dutch Paintings from the Mauritshuis. Ms. Gertmenian and her AP Art History students, Emily Crowder and Virginia Girard, will be available to answer your questions as you visit the exhibit.  Afterwards, enjoy lunch with the other attendees.
