These classes taught by our excellent Menlo faculty will challenge you to learn something new. Come for wine and cheese at 6:30 p.m. Classes start at 7 p.m. Please note all four Night School for Parents classes run simultaneously. Although all sound intriguing, sign up for only one.

Just what can you do with that phone in your pocket or purse? This hands-on workshop on iPhone photography and video basics will help you:

• Use the camera that's already in your purse or pocket


• Practice shooting techniques to get the best quality images and video


• Learn and apply basic concepts of composition, story-telling and lighting


• Try out some of the most popular apps for creative editing on the iPhone


• Share your final results online.

The emphasis will be on capturing and editing still images, but most of the ideas can be applied to video as well.
