This is a gorgeous men's vintage Fedora by the renowned Texas hat maker Resistol. Hat size 71/4"

From the 1950s and recently found in its original box in the attic at a local estate sale.

This dress hat is made if genuine felted Beaver fur with a soft "kitten finish". Of you're not already in the know, the soft and velvety Resistol kitten finish is considered one of the finest hat finishes available, and its exclusive to Resistol.

The style of this hat is known as 'Burke 2', and the official color, a medium charcoal gray, is Cinder. A coordinating gray grosgrain ribbon that secures on the side in a flat bow has a silver pin holding an arrangement if colorful feathers on top. Extremely stylish.
