The Argentine Tango has been called “a secret danced between two people.” It is a dance not performed from the feet, the hips or the arms, but from the heart and soul.
Learn from the best! This series of 4 beginner Argentine Tango lessons at Dance Union in Somerville is taught by Fernanda Ghi and Guillermo Merlo, one of the premier couples in the world of Argentine Tango. Featured in the PBS special "Tango Magic," Fernanda and Guillermo have earned a Tony Award for best choreography, and won the World Tango Championship in 1999. You will also receive 2 instructional DVDs.
Special Instructions
Lessons are held Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m., at Dance Union in Somerville, 16 Bow Street, 2FL, Union Square, Somerville (above Cafe Tango).
Winners may pick up their item(s) and/or certificate(s) in the upstairs PA Office during the week of April 29 - May 3. Please stop by during the following hours:
- Mon - Fri: 8:15-8:45 a.m.
- Mon - Thurs: 3:45-4:15 p.m.; Fri: 2:15-2:45 p.m.
