This lot contains 9 bottles of the best cabernet sauvignon-based wines that the world has to offer - from some very limited-production wineries. This is a varied lot, with offerings extending back to the 2003 Arrowood Reserve Cabernet, as well as more recent bottles from Hayfork and Abreu. Other U.S. wineries include Stonestreet - all with impeccable (and astronomical) ratings - and all drinking fabulously today and for many years into the future. Start grilling those steaks!

This lot includes 12 bottles of subtle (and supple) red burgundy from some of the best producers in France as well as amazing California Pinot Noir. Producers like Pisoni (Lucia), Miura, Argyle, W.H. Smith and many more. All are 90 plus point wines!

These wines may be on opposite ends of the Pinot Noir spectrum, but they are all drinking beautifully now, and for years to come. These wines are perfect with any kind of food - try them with grilled fish this summer.

“I was lucky enough to scoop the 9 bottles of Numanthia that the Michaels offered last year.  These wines, from the Toro region of Spain, are among the most exciting wines of Europe.  Our lot included the 2001, 2003, and 2006 vintages.   Martha & I had the 2003 with some roast pheasant this past weekend.  The wine was deep garnet in color, dense, and aromatic, with accents of cherry, black current, and vanilla.  Happily, we still have several bottles left.  All are excellent and can be cellared another 5-10 years.”  Paul Forte, Brookwood parent
