Flying is fun - here's your chance to give it a try.

This 1.5-hour introductory fight lesson includes flying time and ground instruction.

Added to the great flight instruction is a one-year membership in the Aero Club of New England (ACONE). ACONE is first and foremost a social club for people who share a passion for flight. ACONE is for active pilots, former pilots and non-pilots alike who love to learn about flying, talk about flying and promote flying.

Founded in 1902, ACONE is the second oldest aviation organization in the world and sponsors a number of aviation-related events each year. www.ACONE.org

Included are two tickets to the Godfrey L. Cabot Award ceremony,  ACONE's premier annual event. The Cabot Award is presented annually to an honoree who has made a significant contribution to advancement of aviation.

This year's Cabot Award will be presented to Joe Sutter, age 92, a retired engineer from Boeing Corporation, who was the principal designer of the Boeing 747. The ceremony luncheon will be held at the Harvard Club of Boston on June 7, 2013. If you are unable to attend this year's ceremony, you may request tickets for the 2014 ceremony to be held in June 2014. The 2014 honoree is, of course, unknown today, but past recipients have included Charles Lindberg, Admiral Byrd, Igor Sikorsky, Chuck Yeager and many others who have played significant roles in aviation.
