If the company name doesn't give it away, perhaps the New Orleans vibe of the paddleboats will: Affairs Afloat is one of the City's most raucous floating party purveyors. The company's two multilevel boats feature large dance floors that accommodate a full roster of weekly and monthly theme parties until the fall season. On Wednesdays, you have post-work Brazilian cruises with scantily clad Carnival-style samba dancers and caipirinha drink specials. Most Thursdays bring belly dancers, henna tattooing and DJs spinning Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian beats. On Fridays, it's salsa and merengue with a little hip-hop for good measure. Some Sunday afternoons, the party boats keep things PG with a kiddie cruise before nighttime's Sea Tea gay cruise, equal parts booze and shirtless abs. The boats then get to rest Monday and Tuesday before gearing up to do it all over again.
