Enjoy a private wine tasting for 10 people either in your home or at the new Virginia Wineworks winery in Charlottesville.  Award-winning winemaker Michael Shaps will pour wine from his French winery, Maison Shaps, and from his new releases of his Virginia wines.  If held at the Charlottesville winery, the tasting will include barrel samplings and an educational tour of winery.  French wines include chardonnays and pinot noirs from Burgundy; Virginia wines include viognier, chardonnay,merlot, and more. C&O Restaurant will provide the cheese and fruit to pair with the wines of the evening.
