West Star Wilderness offers week long backpacking trips for kids, grades 6-12, in the mountains of Colorado. The primary and core value of the expeditions is FUN! Trips are rich with opportunities to learn new skills, overcome physical & mental obstacles, and experience the confidence that comes with taking on new challenges. Trips depart from Denver Academy each Monday, July 8 - August 5; and return the following Friday. These expeditions include a half day ofa rafting trip in Browns Canyon. Get out of the city and into the wilderness! These trips are designed for male students, grades 6-12.
