This 5 weight 8’6” 4 pc rod was designed by Sage using G5 technology  but the ZXL is a more refined rod, one with a medium action and softer feel but it still has plenty of power.  Excellent responsiveness and a great rod for a variety of fishing situations.  Will deliver a delicate dry fly  presentation at medium distances from 15 – 40 feet. 

No sock or tube with this rod.
