Description

Machine Embroidered Greeting Cards. (Yes they are sewn on a sewing machine and they are on card stock paper.)  These cards are 5x7 inches, include a mailing envelope and can be mailed USPS for a single first class stamp.

Because of the size the front of the card is also suitable for framing. Every card is different, they are made one at a time and while it is possible to make the same card more than once I never do, each one takes between 20 minutes to an hour to make.

The donor has donated two bundles of six cards (Lot # 170 and 171).  The first bundle is "outdoor scenes", one is a desert scene, the second is a mountain cabin, the third a barnyard with a horse, the fourth a pair of cross stitched trees, the fifth a pine cone on a branch and the sixth (my personal favorite) is a deer scene that is created in the shape of a deer track. The second set consists of six fishing themed cards.

From the donor "My name is Mary Snyder and I make these cards as a hobby.  I am a Stage 4 Breast Cancer patient, who when I had my initial diagnoses decided I want to give away as many of my talents as I can.  I made these cards in the hope that they will bring someone joy and at the same time raise a little money for a good cause.  Casting for Recovery intrigued me because I grew up in Southwestern Montana fishing on 4 Blue Ribbon Trout Rivers on a regular basis,  I loved doing that and I would love to see others have that kind of joy in there lives."
