Description

Machine Embroidered Cards. (Yes they are sewn on a sewing machine and they are on card stock paper.)  These cards are 5x7 inches, include a mailing envelope and can be mailed USPS for a single first class stamp.

Because of the size the front of the card is also suitable for framing. Every card is different, they are made one at a time and while it is possible to make the same card more than once I never do, each one takes between 20 minutes to an hour to make.   There are two bundles of six cards (Lot #170 and #171).  The six fishing themed cards has a pair of rainbow trout facing each other, a pair of red work fish jumping at a fly,  the third is a fisherman standing in the water with a fly rod, the fourth is a cabin scene with a fish jumping, the fifth is a row of fishing flies and the sixth (again my favorite) is a fish attached to a pole, and the fish looks like the breast cancer ribbon.

From the donor "My name is Mary Snyder and I make these cards as a hobby.  I am a Stage 4 Breast Cancer patient, who when I had my initial diagnoses decided I want to give away as many of my talents as I can.  I made these cards in the hope that they will bring someone joy and at the same time raise a little money for a good cause.  Casting for Recovery intrigued me because I grew up in Southwestern Montana fishing on 4 Blue Ribbon Trout Rivers on a regular basis,  I loved doing that and I would love to see others have that kind of joy in there lives."
