Limited edition collector's plate. "Tenderness," First Mother's Day Plate, 1979. Designed and modelled by Barbara Linley Adams for Poole Pottery, England. Number 3,531 of 10,000. No box.
This plate is 8-1/4" in diameter, backstamped and hand numbered. It is made of natural stoneware clays from the Dorset Hills. Clay is worked on Plaster of Paris mouds, special metallic oxides and glazes are hand applied, and fired for 12 hours.

Items may be picked up at the school Monday, April 8th through Friday, April 19th, 2013. Pickup hours are M-F 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. The winning bidder is responsible for arranging pickup or requesting shipping. Winning bidders are asked to request shipping in writing by April 8th at ptaps51@gmail.com. Shipping and Handling fees will be added to the winning bid and charged to the winning bidder's credit card. Items will be shipped via USPS first class or priority mail unless overnight shipping is requested. All items are sold as is. All sales are final.
