The 92nd Street Y is donating two 1-hour long piano lessons with Lora Tchekoratova, to be scheduled during the Fall Semester of 2013. Contact Lora directly to schedule the lessons. Must be taken at the 92nd Street Y School of Music by December 31, 2013.

Pianist Lora Tchekoratova has appeared as a soloist, recitalist and chamber musician throughout the United States and Europe. At age 21 she won the top prize of the Washington International Competition for pianists.  She is a frequent soloist with the Lyric Orchestra in New Jersey and the New Symphony Orchestra in Sofia, Bulgaria. A former student of Seymour Lipkin, Ms. Tchekoratova holds the Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the Juilliard School. She serves on the faculties of the 92nd Street Y School of Music in New York (since 1996), and the Kneisel Hall Adult Chamber Music Institute in Blue Hill, Maine.
