Whimsical opera inspired by a comic strip and premiered in 1924, Leos Jancek and librettist Rudolf Tesnohlidek's The Cunning Little Vixen is an endearing and enlightened glance at the circle of life amongst a cast of woodland characters set in the fairy tale-esque Moravian forest. S ung in English, with Translation from the original Czech by Yveta Synek Graff and Robert T. Jones.
