Be a Veterinarian for a Day - this is the perfect gift for your Upper School student who loves animals and might just want to be a veterinarian some day! The winner will get to shadow Dr. Karen Fling, D.V.M. of East Lake Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Karen Fling, owner of East Lake Veterinary Hospital, received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Texas and is a veterinary graduate of Texas A & M. The day will start with a t-shirt and vet package and a tour of the facilities. Then, the winner and Dr. Fling will discuss the importance of spaying and neutering and possibly watch a surgery. The winner will make arrangements directly with Dr. Fling on a mutually agreeable date.
