Hotel Le Bristol is a unique 5-Star palace in Paris with boasts exemplary service and great refinement. Located on the elegant Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, at the heart of the city's arts and fashion district, the hotel has been welcoming privileged guests since 1925 and features 188 rooms and suites. You're also only a few feet away from the sights, shopping, and cafes of the tree-lined Champs-Elysées. Place de la Concorde, the Louvre, and Orsay are a short walk or taxi trip. After a 2009 $100 million renovation, Hotel Le Bristol now stands grander and more elegant than ever. Spacious, bright and decorated in elegant 18th century style. At Le Bristol be prepared to find some of Paris' most popular restaurants and cafes.
Hotel Le Bristol is often described as an intimate palace combined with refined elegance and extraordinarily. Built in Eiffel style, Hotel Le Bristol features original art and Gobelin tapestries throughout the hotel. Its lobby displays 23 Baccarat crystal chandeliers, a Carrara marble floor with a 19th century Savonnerie carpet.
The legacy of aristocratic ownership lingers in the halls of Le Bristol, which boasts a signature perfume and a guest list that reads like the Who's Who of Hollywood's golden era. Ava Gardner, Marylin Monroe, Charlie Chaplin, Robert de Niro and Céline Dion have all pushed the revolving door of the elegant building: stepping inside the most confidential palace hotel in Paris. A place where, a couple of decades ago, some introduction was still necessary to receive admission!
The whiter shade of pale marble floor, the Gobelin tapestries covering the immaculate walls made out of Ile de France white stone (also used to build the Sacred Heart basilica, in Montmartre), the Arabian Nights carpets bought for extravagant prices and substituted by newer one once a year, and even the XVIIIth and XIXth centuries paintings formerly exhibited in the Louvre, don't catch the attention as much as the cyclopean bunches of flowers artistically arranged on period tables all around.
The guests tend to be extremely faithful: 80% of them like to stay nowhere else, but at the Bristol when visiting Paris. More recent notables include Vladimir Putin, David Beckham, Nicolas Sarkozy, David Cameron, Thierry Breton, Leonardo di Caprio, Steven Spielberg, and Wood Allen - who shot his hit Midnight in Paris in the Panoramic Suite.

The Briston's History dates back to the 18th century, when a private palace (home) was built at its location. The property was purchased by the Jammet family in 1925 and opened as a hotel. Clients who gravitate to the Bristol clearly appreciate the finer things in life, but what keeps them them coming back from one generation to the next seems to be precisely a clubby, family-style atmosphere.
