Ms. Walter’s kindergarten and first grade students created a dove of peace using tempera paint and their fingers. Each of the 26 students was assigned their own distinct color and then each student took turns putting prints into the dove outlined on the canvas. While the prints are individual in both color, shape and size (much like the students)  the effect they create together is one of harmony and beauty.  Krista Olson, artist and mom to one of our students, painted an olive branch in the background.
