This piece should make some of us of a certain age smile and hold up our devil horns. Experience the beloved rock bands of the 70s, 80s, 90s as they come to life through the creative (and literal) illustrations of Ms. Kirkness’ fourth graders. Mixed media using vintage music sheets, prepared with gesso and walnut oil. The illustrations were drawn with pen and colored pencils, then each item is mounted on board and coated, with help from Joy Hagen of Studio 103.
