Description

This unique watch was purchased in Russia in the mid-1990s. An artisan took a plain but good-quality Poljot wristwatch and added his/her own unique handpainting to the face.

Men wearing traditional garb are gathered around the hands in detailed hand painting that circles the face. Russian writing in gold paint hugs the bottom edge. The back of the watch features a custom engraving showing a paint brush with the note "Hend Painting" written alongside. The watch is stainless steel and water resistant. The leather wristband says "Calypso" and "Vera Pelle" on the reverse. Original tag still attached. New in box. Definitely one of a kind! A Russian watch collector has confirmed there is no other wristwatch on the market like it.
