The piano is a friend for life. Katrina has especially enjoyed teaching many Waldorf children. At the Tree of LIfe Studio. we learn music by composing and illustrating our own songs, using numbers (solfeggi) How exciting for each child find their own story in music! When melody and pitch are developed, they learn traditional notation. Drums and instruments teach rhythm. The children are passionate and joyful about their own songs. Later they learn classical and popular repertoire; scales and theory. There are piano parties every semester. This begins a musical journey which will last all their lives!
