This popular spot, The District's only restaurant offering Indian cuisine, packs in diners with their diverse lunch buffet (a variety of popular entree and side choices for only $10) and dinner menu, featuring a wide variety of specialties including masala, tandoori, and other lamb, seafood and chicken dishes. Delicious desserts including homemade rice pudding, specialty drinks such as mango lassi, and savory appetizers round out the menu. Reservations suggested, but walk-ins are welcome.

I really enjoy Northern Indian. The food is great and reasonably priced, the service is spot-on, and the leftovers are just as good the next day. I always love to fan the flames of my love for naan, and this is the best place for that. They even have some nice desserts as well. Highly recommend if you're looking for vindaloo in New London.

Awesome place, had the mixed grill and shrimp curry at 4/6 spiciness and both were amazing. The spice is just right, the onion naan is amazing, and the meat was cooked to perfection.
